John Caldwell Win in Convincing Fashion

The top ranked John Caldwell Golden Knights erase memories of back to back loses in the title game and put #3 Samuel-de-Champlain away early to cruise to victory.
John Caldwell jumped out in and set the tone of the game as they led 20 – 8 after one period of action. It would be another 20 spot for the Golden Knights in the second period and they held the Jaguars to 10 points and head into halftime with a 40 – 18 lead.
JCS put the game away in the third quarter as they scored and often outscoring the Jaguars 24 – 3 and now held a 64 – 21 lead with just 10 minutes to play. Samuel-de-Champlain finally found their scoring touch in the last quarter as they won the 4th 18 – 8, but the Golden Knights would walk away with the 72 – 39 final and win the championship title.
John Caldwell were led by their NBIAA All-Star and Player of the Game Kohen Pietens who scored 28 points and added 6 rebounds. He was helped out by another NBIAA All-Star Anthony Lloyd with his 14 points and 9 rebounds. Kayden Brayall added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double.
The Jaguars were led by their Player of the Game Gabriel Powell as he netted 9 points and 12 boards. Caleb Thompson chipped in with 8 points and 6 rebounds in a losing cause.
